ordered and paid for 2 pairs of trousers for my son - size 28in waist 29in leg on 02.06.15 - and still have not got them 18.08.15 (77 days ) he goes back to school on 02.09.15 - once this order is completed I would be going to use Rawcliffes again . They also do not ring you back when they say they will - the customer has to do all the chasing

great service and pleasant staff. I was originally sent by the school to a supplier out of town but they didn't have what we needed. Rawcliffes had it there and then. I was surprised by how much stock they had but they have obviously restocked after the madness of the summer.

Still waiting for blazer ordered 11 August! Part order delivered 28 August. At previous large school, the supplier delivered in a timely manner, no delay. School Solutions has contacted the shop to no avail.
Website shows wrong ties for year groups! As it's a new school we were unaware until son went to school wearing one! Still not received second (wrong) tie. Unable to tell Rawcliffes as phone not answered.
This non- delivery and no communication is not acceptable so I will be contacting Citizens Advice, possibly Trading Standards.

Every year I go to Rawcliffes for my daughters school uniform and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They're not the fastest supplier but in the middle of summer when hundreds of parents are all buying the same items at once what else is to be expected. I recommend Rawcliffes to all of my friends as the quality of the garments 9/10 times is brilliant and the occasional time something goes wrong the staff are extremely helpful in resolving this as best as they can. I have been in the shop at they're busiest and the ques are long and the shop does get hot, however the staff work in that situation from morning until night and on many occasions they don't get breaks or lunches. I have also witnessed them deal with customers who are extremely rude and aggressive towards them, we all get angry when the items aren't available but it's not the staffs fault and I know from personal experience they go above and beyond your average store to get the items as fast as physically possible. I don't know many stores that would do what the Rawcliffes staff do every summer and I think they deserve better than what they get from some customers.

The service is absolutely disgusting, one week after the beginning of the school term, the school blazers have still not arrived after many telephone calls the attitude is still atrocious. Why are they not chasing the suppliers. The education departments should consider using different suppliers. Rawcliffes didn't have the job right in July at school opening evenings so what chance have they got in September. On a final note when you do complain members of staff will not give you their name.

When you ring you do not get an answer. The phone puts you through to answer phone then automatically tells you it is full. I have waited 4 weeks for a t-shirt and my daughter has paid for a PE bag in July and they still haven't got it.

Why have a phone if no one picks up been waiting 2 month for my sons blazer n still not there and my son goes back tomorrow will never be useing this shop again

Same as another customer. They NEVER answer the phone. So I drove over only to find them stood about talking, rang the phpne whilst I was in the shop and nobody went to answer it.
NEVER have in what you want, poor sservice.

Terrible service. Order part delivered but no 'to follow' note so didn't know if they had order correct. Phone not answered,messages full. Went to shop, told blazer and ties not in stock, still will be delivered.
When ordered told don't stock PE kit, couldn't say who did! Told to ask school - this during holidays!
Thanks to a previous reviewer will get PE kit from Motif8 in Thornaby. Will suggest to school they change supplier!

Same as previous reviewer. Ordered a rugby shirt for my son and have not been contacted to let me know whether it's in. Tried to ring but am unable to leave a message as the machine is full.
Should have gone to Motif8 in Thornaby as other parents I know have - have the stock and service is better.

nearly time to go back to school. no blazer yet and its paid for and no jumpers in stock. have been through to shop twice and no joy. blazer was ordered and paid for when school was still open before holidays. cant keep up with orders obviously taking on more than they can handle. school should change supplier.

Absolutely disgusting the way they never answer the phone! I tried for 3 solid hours before making a 10 mile journey to the shop only to find it empty and staff standing about talking! To prove a point, I rang the store from outside, I could see the place was empty but still got the answer machine telling me they were busy! It's disgraceful! If there was anywhere else to buy the uniforms I wouldn't give them a penny of my money! Service terrible and I'd rate them zero!!!!

I'm not impressed at all. It's my 1st dealings with them & it will be the last (if I can find another uniform shop to use). we're half way through the last week of the summer holidays & I still haven't heard from them about whether or not they have my order complete or not. I have tried constantly to get in touch by calling them. The answering service goes on to say 'you're 1st in the que' it then switches to an answer machine which can't take any more messages because their message box is full. I can't speak to a representative. Very annoying!! At this rate, my son will be going in his new school in plain clothes, not uniform. There must be more than just me who is having the same problem too. I can do without the extra stress.
